Adopt some Stress Coping Strategies
The hormone cortisol is produced by the adrenal glands in response to stress. If produced in excess over a period it can depress the immune system, and can damage cells including brain cells, and can have adverse effects on other hormones such as insulin and thyroid hormone.
To lower your stress hormones, practice daily relaxation, meditation, listen to classical music Mozart, take part in Tai Chi or Yoga. Supplement with magnesium together with a cocktail of B vitamins and as always get plently of rest.
