Surrounding yourself with aromatherapy makes good SCENTS
I’ve always been a big fan of aromatherapy. From candles, essential oils, bath products, gardening, you name it and I probably own it or have it planted somewhere in my garden. LOL
But what exactly are the benefits of aromatherapy?
For example, we all know of certain smells and scents that that make us feel good emotionally but how could certain scents be good for us on a physical level?
Let’s explore the familiar Mind and Body Connection. Research suggests that there is indeed a correlation between smells and the effectiveness of the immume system as measured by certain antibodies present in the bloodstream.
A bad smell such as rotten eggs, can actually suppress the immune system, while a good smell such as chocolate, or a fresh flower bouquet, can cause it to be on the upswing and increase!
If that isn’t enough reason to to indulge your senses in your favorite aromatherapy products or perhaps a favorite food (I can see those fresh baked chocolate chip cookies calling to me already) , I’m sure we can come up with more!
Well maybe after I finish up with these cookies!

I am also a fan of Aromatherapy. Essential Oils, Scented Candles, and Bath Product…They are really a big help on me..For everytime I get tired and stressed out..This is the only thing that help me pass my stress through..By not letting me take medications(drugs)..For drugs gave me a stomach upset.
There is definitely merit in using aromatherapy as you have pointed out. This has to be looked at case by case. For example, a few drop of lavender in bath water is a good way to soothe your nerves and to sleep better.
So I guess I am saying, take it on a case by case basis, and you cannot go wrong.
Aromatherapy induces a deeper sleep so it’s great to take a bath with aromatherapy oils before going to sleep at night. This in turn gives you more energy and you feel refreshed when waking up. A lot of people don’t have time to go to the gym to “earn their sleep” so this is a good short-cut to putting the body into a very relaxed state before sleeping.
Essential oils are one of nature’s greatest gifts… I used aromatherapy to relieve headaches and depressions and it works like a charm. Many of these oils work as natural medicine too…I’m currently training hard for a muaythai fight next month and I only use aromatherapy to relax my muscles and arnica oil for bruises and sprains.
Amazing how it seems that aromatherapy gives a lasting comfort to the human. I am personally involved to such activity and it enhances my spirituality which motivates me in my daily living.
Essential oils are the heart of Aromatherapy. That’s why I use essential oils in making my own Homemade Aromatherapy Perfumes
We have to take note though that Aromatherapy doesn’t “cure” major illnesses but it is effective at alleviating many of the discomforts associated with them.

Massage therapy with essential oils can be a true spiritual experience, not only relieving physical discomforts but soothing emotional distress as well. Certain scents help me to meditate better as well.
I’m a big fan of lavender myself. What would you recommend?
I have found that there is a huge demand for Aromatherapy products. I have changed my website store to specialize in these most sought after products. I agree that Aromatherapy helps with depression and ones overall well being. http://www.ElizabethsCorner.com
I use aromatherapy for a very relaxing bath. I also recommend lavender, and also chamomile, which is very relaxing too.
