Delicious Protein Shake for energy

Little do you know, your body may be dragging due to not getting enough protein in your daily diet, which gives you sustained energy.

While you can try protein powder, many people shy away from those due to the taste.

Here is a great alternative to those protein powders. A tastey recipe that gives you ten grams of protein and just loaded with iron for energy!

1/2 cup chopped dates softened in 3/4th cup almond or soy milk

1/2 cup nonfat plain yogurt

1/2 cup soft tofu

2 tbs tahini

1 banana, sliced

Toss all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. This recipe makes 3, 1 cup servings.

  2. Thanks for the recipe. Here is my favorite:

    1/2 cup of frozen berries

    1/4 cup plain or vanilla yogurt

    1/4 cup of plain oats

    1 tsp honey

    Then I top it up with 50% milk and the other 50% apple cider. YUM! This is my breakfast in the morning.
