Sacramento, CA November 29, 2007: Most people are interested in eliminating a bad habit, unwarranted fear, or destructive behavior that is keeping them from reaching their potential or fulfilling their goals. Many people create New Year’s Resolutions only to forget about them before too long and regress back to their old ways of doing things. We’ve all heard a lot about positive affirmations, but can they really help people lose weight, increase confidence, create abundance, stop procrastinating, or build a healthy relationship?

Rhonda Jones, author of the Christian Meditation and Relaxation CD Series, is looking for individuals ready to put the question, “Do Affirmations Really Work?” to the test?

“We’ve been bombarded with the Law of Attraction and how our thoughts create our reality,” says Jones, who says she has used positive affirmations and relevant scriptures to end procrastination, eat healthier, build confidence, and eliminate thoughts of lack. As a result, she created a variety of Christian Affirmations and Scriptural downloads to create “right” thinking based on godly principles in the areas of abundance, protection, faith, weight, giving, procrastination, healing, confidence, successful marriages, and more.

Jones is now inviting others to Taking the Affirmation Challenge. It’s free to participate, however, you must have a computer capable of downloading and burning CDs, agree to listen to 30-40 minutes of affirmations at least 2 times per day for 30 consecutive days; and at the end of the 30 days complete a questionnaire regarding your affirmation experience. “Participants can listen to affirmations while getting ready for work, during their daily commutes, while doing housework, when retiring to bed, or just about any time is okay. Just let the affirmations play in the background of whatever you’re doing,” said Jones.

To take the affirmation and scripture challenge, go to http://www.thechristianmeditator.com/affirmation_challenge.html. Space is limited and the deadline for participation is December 15, 2007.
